E&I Maintenance Supervisor

Specifically, we are looking for a E&I Maintenance Supervisor  who wants to join the Company.

Mission:


The Maintenance supervisor shall coordinate and manage electrical and instrumentation technical workload. Ensure equipment reliability by executing the planned maintenance by preparing and approving the maintenance plans as well as the unplanned maintenance when required, whilst following the applicable norms, and enhancing the safety and environment at the assigned facility.

 

Function:

 

  • Schedule, supervise, and coordinate equipment and facility maintenance tasks (preventive, predictive, corrective, and legal), as well as inspections, operational tests, and repairs, ensuring their execution and reporting in accordance with established procedures and area instructions, managing available internal and/or external resources.
  • To conduct inspections, tests of operations, repairs and adjustments of equipment in its area.
  • Develop and review maintenance procedures and ranges to ensure that equipment and facilities are in perfect working order.
  • Participate in the development of the Maintenance Plan and associated Budget by studying and proposing to the person in charge the needs for materials, spare parts, and tools to ensure compliance.
  • Report any abnormal or irregular conditions in accordance with procedures and instructions to ensure that the facilities are in proper operating condition, keeping up-to-date records of completed work.
  • To diagnose and attend to malfunctions of machines and installations following the established procedures, noting in the work orders the cause and solution adopted in the resolution of the faults, so that they are in perfect conditions of operating services. 
  • Prepare technical specifications and collaborate in the selection of bids for the procurement of materials and contracted services within your area.
  • Participate in the analysis and improvement plan for the integrity of the facilities. Study the operation, breakdowns, and incidents that have occurred, determining their causes, implementing corrective measures, and proposing improvements.
  • Carry out the actions and tasks entrusted in the Self-Protection Plan and other similar plans.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Quality, and Environmental procedures, preventing harm to personnel, third parties, or facilities and equipment. Ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Perform all similar and complementary tasks assigned by your chain of command, related to the mission of the position or necessary for the proper performance of the facility's activities, as well as, if necessary, functions or tasks specific to your area of work and for which you have the appropriate training. 
           

Knowledge and experience:

 

  • Basic knowledge of the LNG regasification process.
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems, preferably SAP.
  • Advanced use of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Recommended skills in AutoCad or other equivalent software.
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar positions. Experience in Oil&Gas sector will be valued.
  • Knowledge about high voltage and low voltage distribution systems.
  • Knowledge about protection relays and power management systems.    
  • Knowledge about emergency distribution systems and uninterrupted power supply systems    
  • Knowledge about Fire and Gas detection and notification systems. Knowledge about Fire Alarm systems.    
  • Knowledge about Water Boiler units.    
  • Knowledge about safe working practices: occupational safety, permit to work, work at heights, electrical switching operations, etc    
  • General knowledge about working in hazardous areas. 

 

Certifications:

 

  • Electrical Engineering or Higher Diploma.

Languages:

 

  • Fluent in English (C1-C2).
  • German or spanish is a plus
